CAEAL is seeking highly motivated experts to assess the conformance of laboratories to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025

Qualifications

 

  • Possess credentials in one or more of laboratory management, quality practices, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, toxicology, radiochemistry, microbiology, air analysis or asbestos analysis;
  • Have at least five years relevant experience;
  • Hold a university degree or technical diploma;
  • Work in a laboratory or laboratory-related environment;
  • Possess good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Commitment

 

  • Conduct at least six CAEAL assessments on a volunteer basis, over a three year period;
  • Attend an approved 36 hour Lead Auditor/Lead Assessor training course;
  • Attend biennial (refresher) CAEAL specific training courses.

 

NOTE: CAEAL will fund all assessor related travel, training and certification as a RABQSA certified auditor.
